1 People uses medium proportion of lower impact materials, such as:

It uses natural plant dyes to colour its fabrics by partnering with a local family business in Bali.
Each of its products are GOTS/OEKO-TEX-certified.
Its manufacturing takes place in Indonesia, India, China, Portugal, Mauritius.
It has a year-round quality collection with few items, and unlike fast fashion brands, micro-trends are not followed.
Its packaging is made from recycled paper and coloured with natural dyes; whereas, its logo stickers are made from bio-compostable paper.
Some of the parcels it ships are packaged in plastic.
It claims to use carbon neutral shipment in the USA and Europe.

Maker Wellbeing

Its Supplier Code of Conduct is based on ILOs Four Fundamental Freedoms: no child labor, no forced labor, no discrimination, and employees having the right to association and collective bargaining.
A majority of its final production takes place in countries with extreme risk of labour abuse.
