Environment

  • Their packaging is plastics-free and made using paper/cardboard.
  • Their product packaging is made from polylactic acid (PLA) bio-plastic made from corn, cassava, sugarcane or sugar beet pulp.
  • They resuse packaging material wherever possible.
  • They send large batches of products to warehouses in each country, where the single products are shipped from. This is one step to reducing impact.

Animal Welfare

  • They do not test any of their products or their components on animals. However, they do not carry an offical cruelty free certification at this point.
  • Some of their products contain animal-derived ingredients. The majority of their products are fully vegan. Only their SPF 30 sunscreens and sun sticks contain organic beeswax for natural water resistance.
